Our Services

Delta Capital’s business recovery services focus on developing and implementing creative going-concern solutions for under-performing businesses. We provide financial advisory services and executive management support so that businesses can survive and prosper for the benefit of all stakeholders. We have the resources to implement a financial reorganization, refinancing or operational changes to reflect the agreed change of direction. Our objective is to help restore enterprise value.

Our clients engage us to provide turnaround advisory, investment banking, insolvency restructuring and related services.  We are able to work with clients in a number of ways – as CRO; we can have the legal authority to carry out the restructuring without having any direct operating responsibilities; as an advisor we provide oversight and leadership in strategic and tactical planning without having operational or legal authority over the business. Alternatively, we can assume key operational roles on an interim basis.

Companies experiencing difficulty in achieving their objectives may be candidates for financial restructuring/recapitalization. Building on our experience and knowledge, we undertake a comprehensive analysis of the business' financial structure, operating strategy and competitive position as a basis from which we can develop appropriate immediate and longer-term corporate strategies.

United Co-operative of Ontario

Advised the Board of Directors of this wholesale co-operative on loan realization strategies. Sold the business to Growmark, a US based regional cooperative

Gentra Canada

Created and led the team charged with managing the $2 billion problem loan portfolio acquired from the insolvent Royal Trust Company. Increased market capitalization by approx. $650 million within two years

CEO of a publicly traded research, development and manufacturing concern

Initially advised the Board of Directors  with respect to a turn around strategy and acted for a period of 14 months, as the Chief Operating Officer to implement the plan

Greater Toronto Airport AuthorityGreater Toronto Airport Authority

Negotiated a settlement between the thirteen owners of Terminal Three and the Government of Canada with respect to Terminals 1 and 2 redevelopment rights. Negotiated the sale of Terminal Three to the newly created airport authority. Combined transaction value of $780 million


Negotiated the purchase of the secured debt of this manufacturer of snowploughs and utility trailers sold to big box retailers which operated in Ontario and Kentucky on behalf of an investor; restructured the company by putting the company through a Court appointed Receivership and tendering the debt to purchase the assets; and acted as the Court Appointed Interim Chief Operating Officer and subsequently Interim CEO until the investor could find a permanent replacement
